New Year’s is a time of celebration and for many – a time for resolutions!  If you are you making resolutions this year, don’t forget your home.  At UFO, we came up with some of our TOP New Year’s Resolutions for your home.

  1. The Purge – Watch any of your favorite home network shows, the homes we love are usually clean and free of clutter.  The new year is a great time (i.e. it’s cold outside and we can’t go to the beach…) to clear through the clutter and get rid of things we don’t need.  Make it for the greater good – sort and donate your items for friends/family or charity.  Our rule of thumb, if you haven’t seen it or used it in a year – donate or toss it.
  2. Build a Retreat – Be it a new bedroom set, living room, or accents – why not make your home your ideal retreat!?!  Most of us don’t have the luxury of vacationing everyday – why not choose your favorite destination (or dream destination) and try to recreate it at home?  Search Instagram or Pinterest for ‘Cozy Living Rooms’ or Romantic Bedrooms’ jot down ideas, and come shop with us at UFO!  We love inspired projects – after all, don’t you deserve your home to be your dream retreat?
  4. Family Time – Set the stage for spending time with those you love, be it family, friends, your cat – we’re not judging.  Tired of that old sofa?  New year is a great time for an update.  Many of us are waiting on our tax refunds and can use those for some new living or dining room furniture for a better night’s sleep.  You don’t even need to wait for that refund with our great financing options.
  5. Get More Sleep – We spend about 1/3 of our life sleeping.  If you are like us, you just thought about that lumpy pillow and old mattress.  You work hard, why not upgrade your mattress/pillows/sheets for a more restful and peaceful night’s sleep?  You don’t have to spend a fortune to get a great night’s sleep with UFO.
