Urban Furniture Outlet of New Castle announced today they will be moving their Delaware furniture showroom from 312 South Dupont Highway to 166 South Dupont Highway. Owner Nick Urban said of the move, “we’re excited to have a new 15,000 square foot showroom to better display our extensive furniture and mattress collection and offer our customers a more relaxing and comfortable shopping experience.” Urban Furniture Outlet will remain open during the move. They will keep the current location as a furniture distribution center and plan to open the new store in January 2013.
Urban Furniture Outlet, formerly Contract Liquidators was started 22 years ago by late Richard Urban. Richard Urban made the business a success by keeping low overhead and offering customers great prices on discount furniture and mattresses and friendly customer service. The business was taken over by son Nick Urban in 2008. Nick Urban has continued what his father started, changing the name to Urban Furniture Outlet to honor his father Richard Urban. The company has turned their focus on getting today’s top furniture styles for less and expanding their selection of furniture and mattresses. The business serves the Delaware, New Jersey, Maryland and Pennsylvania area offering discount prices on today’s furniture and mattresses.
