UFO Summer Food Drive 2023

Did you know 1 in 7 children in Delaware struggle with hunger?  Many families and children rely on free or reduced lunch and meals offered at schools during the year. Summertime can be particularly hard for these families in our Delaware community. The Food Bank of Delaware and our local school districts work tirelessly throughout the year to help support these families.

Urban Furniture Outlet is proud to be a supporter of the Food Bank of Delaware and we serve as an official donation drop site at both store locations.  As a donation drop site, we have collection barrels available and ready to receive donations from various individuals and organizations who are organizing food drives.  Once our barrels are full, we contact the Food Bank who picks up donations and distributes to our Delaware communities.

Urban Furniture Outlet will be holding our own food drive as well this summer to help support our Food Bank’s efforts.  Please consider bringing canned goods or non-perishable foods next time you visit one of our store locations.

• Canned Meats
• Sauces
