  1.  Spooky Eyes in The Bushes.  We can’t wait to try this one.  It’s pretty simple.  Buy some standard glow sticks and use some old toilet paper tubes.  Cut some eye holes in the tube and place the glow stick inside.  Stick in bushes by your home this Halloween and keep the trick or treaters on their toes!!  To learn how visit our UFO Pinterest ‘Holiday Ideas’ board.
  2. Gettin’ Crafty with the Jack’o’lanterns.  There are a lot of cheap and cool stencil ideas for your Halloween pumpkins.  Be warned, it helps to have some better tools, the ones that come with the kits don’t hold up for long.  If you are working with the kids, be sure to have an adult use those sharper tools. We had fun with an alien pumpkin template perfect for UFO :).
  3. You Can Play with Your Food, or Candy…That Is.  Using candy corn, marshmallow ghosts, corn kernels of various colors, even beans (think layers of different colors/types) make a great hurricane or vase filler.  Be creative and use the the signs of the season for fillers.  Acorns, twigs, and dried flowers are great as well.
  4. Halloween Treats – It Ain’t Just Candy.  We saw a lot of cool Halloween hacks on Pinterest and posted many of the great ideas we saw to our Holiday Ideas board.  You don’t have to be Martha Stewart or super craft to master these either.  Our advice – be creative and keep it simple.  If the treats are stressing you out and time consuming, it’s not worth it.  Check out our holiday board for some great ideas that are fun, cheap, and easy!
